Campus Life
“Play is the highest form of research – Albert Einstein
At AUBH, we understand that life outside of study is as important as academic performance. It is in this sense that we aim to provide our students with a well-rounded university experience that is on a par with experiences abroad. Our 75,000 sqm Riffa campus is alive with a host of leisure and extra-curricular activities to create unique spaces for students, faculty, and staff to interact, learn, and grow as individuals.
Our stunning campus was designed by US-based architects Ayers Saint Gross (ASG), who are specialists in creating university spaces which lend themselves to creativity through open areas, ease of flow and natural light. The campus aesthetic was designed to enhance interaction and collaboration between students, faculty, and staff, providing a distinctive educational venue unique to the Middle East.

Student Council
Our first Student Council Committee was elected in October 2019, with the vision of providing resources and energy aimed creating a better student experience at AUBH. The role of these bright and committed individuals is to serve as student representation in university governance, ensuring all voices are heard and amplified appropriately. Council members assist with campus events and activities, mentorship and shaping the University’s policies and culture. Anyone who would like to share ideas or be involved with the Student Council can contact the Student Council President.
Clubs & Societies
Overseen by the AUBH Student Council, students have access to a plethora of clubs and societies catering to every interest, from soccer to photography. The clubs and societies operate with the ethos of collaboration amongst students and the wider AUBH community. In keeping with our approach to education, students are free to conceive their own ideas for campus activities and events, to mutually thrive in a self-starting environment.
