In his first session Mr. Morgan will address AUBH students, staff and guests on The Power of Prizes, the impact of philanthropy how challenges drive innovation; followed by an interactive session with a renowned Social Entrepreneur. His final session will see him discuss The Science of Competition, exploring the meaning of winning and how collaboration around prizes has led to an uprising of knowledge to the benefit of all participants.
Mr. Morgan has served as an Advisor to the Office of the First Minister of Scotland, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the government of the United Arab Emirates, and many multi-national interests, counselling them on competitions for solving large-scale public problems. In 2017, Common Pool was responsible for facilitating over $200 million in resources to participants of prize programs around the world, and Mr. Morgan was recognized by the BBC as “the world’s expert” in designing prizes to drive innovative breakthroughs.
