Dr. Abdulla Sarhan

Dr. Abdulla Sarhan graduated with a PhD in Applied Physics from Osaka University, Japan.  Dr. Sarhan has long experience in teaching physics courses at undergraduate and graduate levels in Japan, and in Bahrain at the University of Bahrain, the Arabian Gulf University, and currently at the AUBH. Dr. Sarhan is an author and co-author of several scientific papers published in internationally renowned peer-reviewed journals. He also has contributions in number of scientific conferences and workshops. He has more than 15 years academic teaching and research experiences. His field of research includes all kinds of computational-theoretical physics, numerical analysis, quantum design and simulation, surface/interface science, atomic-electronic structure, condensed and soft matter physics, charge transport, first-principles DFT (density functional theory) calculations, time dependent DFT, non-equilibrium physics, Green’s function formalism, quantum electrodynamics, statistical mechanics, molecular dynamics, charge transport, and high performance computing.
