Dr. Sager Al Khalifa
Dr. Sager Al Khalifa is an Adjunct Professor in The College of Business and Management and Lectures in various Management areas including Change Management and Innovation, Conflict and Negotiation, Cross-Cultural management. Throughout his career, Dr. Al Khalifa was assigned to work in Bahrain Economic Development Board, The Embassy of Bahrain in Washington, D.C., Ministry of Defense, before he received the royal decree assignment in The Ministry of Youth and Sports as an Assistant Undersecretary. He served various posts there before moving to the Ministry of Education as the Senior Advisor, under the position of Assistant Undersecretary. He is known to be the founder of Triathlon in Bahrain, establishing the Triathlon Federation and worked to bring IRONMAN to Bahrain and Dubai. He is also the Head of Bahrain Schools and Collegiate Athletics Association, and an avid athlete with more than 30 IRONMAN and Marathons under his belt.
Dr. Sager Al Khalifa earned his Ph.D. in International Politics and Comparative Politics from Claremont Graduate University; his Master of Science in International Relations from the American University in Washington D.C.; and his Bachelor of Science in International Politics and Military Affairs from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, all of which are universities in the United States. He is one of the few Bahrainis who graduated from The Citadel, known as one of the toughest military colleges in America before being enlisted as an Army Officer in Bahrain Defense Force for around 18 years in total.
