Ms. Rasha Ameen
A skilled relationship manager, Ms. Rasha Ameen oversees all HR functions at the University, including staff recruitment, evaluation, and payroll. She is also passionate about developing talent in the organization and identifying areas where staff can thrive. She is also the first point of contact for any staff with internal or regulatory issues, ensuring discretion and tactful management at all times.
Prior to taking up her role at AUBH, Ms. Ameen spent 14 years with Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company, one of Bahrain’s largest insurers, where she was instrumental in solving staff issues and dealing tactfully with any necessary disciplinary or evaluation measures. Ms. Ameen rose to the position of HR Manager, responsible for all faculty and administration staff, where she designed and implemented custom training, structured employee benefit packages and kept a constant eye on potential advancement for each individual.
Throughout her career, she has focused on self-development in her field, becoming CIPD Certified. She has also undertaken qualifications on honing other HR-related skills though courses in Effective Supervision, Managing Change and Managing Effectiveness.
