Prof. Bestoun Al-Beywanee

Prof. Bestoun S. Ahmed serves as a Program Coordinator, and Professor at the College of Engineering and Computing at the American University of Bahrain (AUBH). Throughout his career, he has worked with universities, research groups, and professional institutions across multiple countries, contributing to teaching, research, curriculum development, academic quality assurance, and applied software engineering projects.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Prof. Ahmed brings extensive international academic, research, and industry experience to his teaching and research. He has taught and developed a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer organization, software design, research methods, and data science. He has also contributed to curriculum development, program coordination, accreditation, student supervision, and academic quality assurance.

His research interests include software engineering, artificial intelligence, AI for software quality, machine learning operations (MLOps), software architecture, empirical software engineering, and trustworthy AI systems. He has published extensively in international journals and conference proceedings and has collaborated with academic and industry partners on applied research projects.
