The space debris imposes a risky issue for spacecraft, satellites, and other space equipment. Therefore, an attempt was carried out in this study to design and analyze the performance of the Rocker-Bogie Space Debris Collector for Extraterrestrial Cleanup. In the beginning, the space debris collector system was designed with a rocker-bogie structure. Later, a considerable and careful analysis was performed and it was found that the box configuration with robotic arms was much better than rocker bogie as space derbies cleaner. Therefore, the replacement was done and operational load analysis and cost estimation for the proposed system design was implemented successfully. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.
