2026 Graduation Ceremony

Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the American University of Bahrain (AUBH) celebrated the graduation of its fourth cohort, the Class of 2026, comprising bachelor’s and postgraduate students from three colleges, during a ceremony held at Exhibition World Bahrain.

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, alongside senior guests, members of the University’s academic and administrative bodies, and parents of the graduating students.

The ceremony celebrated the graduation of 148 students across various academic disciplines, marking another important milestone in AUBH’s continued growth and its role in preparing qualified national talent equipped with the knowledge, skills, and capabilities required to contribute to key sectors across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

H.E. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, delivered the keynote address during the ceremony, congratulating the graduates on this significant academic milestone and commending the dedication and perseverance they demonstrated throughout their university journey.

During the ceremony, several Academic Achievement Awards and special awards were presented in recognition of students’ excellence, outstanding performance, and achievements throughout their university journey. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa presented the awards to the recipients, including Mariam Mohamed Madan, who received the Best Academic Achievement Award for the College of Business and Management, sponsored by the National Bank of Bahrain; Ali Khalifa Al Thawadi, who received the Best Academic Achievement Award for the College of Engineering and Computing, sponsored by Gulf Air; and Esraa Ali Bin Rajab, who received the Best Academic Achievement Award for the College of Media and Design, sponsored by Khaleeji Bank.

The ceremony also included the presentation of the Beyon Award by Beyon to Salwa Beshara. Dr. Wafa Almansoori also presented the McLaren Racing internship opportunity to Maria Al Awadhi, as well as CERN internship opportunities to Noor Abduljalil and Mohammed AlTooq, for a period of one year.

Dr. Wafa Almansoori, Interim President and Provost of the University, expressed her sincere appreciation and gratitude to His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa for graciously patronizing AUBH’s fourth graduation ceremony, and affirmed that this generous patronage reflects the continued support and attention given to higher education in the Kingdom and serves as an important driver for the University to further develop an advanced learning environment built on academic quality, innovation, and alignment with the needs of the labor market.

Dr. Almansoori added: “Today, we celebrate the culmination of years of hard work and perseverance as we graduate AUBH’s fourth cohort. This milestone reflects the University’s mission to advance academic excellence and prepare graduates to contribute meaningfully to their communities and to the wider development of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Since its establishment, AUBH has sought to provide a dynamic learning environment that connects academic knowledge with practical experience, encourages thoughtful engagement, and helps students build the confidence and capabilities needed for their future paths. We are proud of our graduates and confident that they will represent the University and its values with distinction as they move forward with a strong sense of responsibility and purpose.”
