How to Apply as a Postgraduate Student

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Master of Science in Engineering Management (M.Sc.)

Master of Arts in Multimedia Management (M.A.)

  • An overall GPA of 2.3 (75%) or equivalent
  • English language proficiency such as IELTS (academic) with a score of (6.0 IELTS) or equivalent such as TOEFL or Duolingo.
  • Passing AUBH personal interview (if applicable)
  • An overall GPA of 2.3 (75%) or equivalent
  • The student should have successfully completed a minimum of one science subject at high school level (e.g. Physics, Biology, Chemistry) and one math subject with a GPA of 2.3.
  • English language proficiency such as IELTS (academic) with a score of (6.0 IELTS) or equivalent such as TOEFL or Duolingo,
  • Passing AUBH personal interview (if applicable)

Master of Business Administration – MBA

 Applicants interested in joining the MBA program offered at AUBH are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4 (or its equivalent).
  • English language proficiency score of 6.5 in the IELTS or equivalent. Applicants will be exempted from this requirement if they are citizens of a country where their first language is English (such as the UK, USA, or Canada); or have their bachelor’s degree from one of those countries; or if their university awarding body was coming from a country where their first language is English.
  • CV or Resume
  • Passing AUBH personal interview (if applicable)

 

 

Students who have not taken Economics and/or Statistics and/or Research Methods during their previous studies, might have to take one or two foundation courses during their enrollment in the MBA program. These courses will not impact the GPA.

 

Master of Science in Engineering Management – MSc

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, and related subjects from an accredited institution of higher education, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4 (or its equivalent).
  • English language proficiency score of 6.5 in the IELTS or equivalent. Applicants will be exempted from this requirement if they are citizens of a country where their first language is English (such as the UK, USA, or Canada); or have their bachelor’s degree from one of those countries; or if their university awarding body was coming from a country where their first language is English.
  • CV or Resume
  • Passing AUBH personal interview (if applicable)

Master of Arts in Multimedia Management – MM

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in media, multimedia, or business; or other bachelor’s degrees with work experience in media, advertising, marketing, or public relations with a minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 (or equivalent).
  • English language proficiency score of 6.5 in the IELTS or equivalent. Applicants will be exempted from this requirement if they are citizens of a country where their first language is English (such as the UK, USA, or Canada); or have their bachelor’s degree from one of those countries; or if their university awarding body was coming from a country where their first language is English.
  • CV or Resume
  • Passing AUBH personal interview (if applicable)

 

Students may take a foundation course in Research Methods during their enrollment to the program. The course will not impact on the GPA.

To formally be admitted to the University, you will need to provide the following original documents or proof of pending results:

  • Statement of graduation / high school diploma
  • High school transcripts:
    • Semesters 1 to 6 for government schools
    • Grades 9-12 for private schools
    • An equivalency letter from the Ministry of Education.
    • Please ensure that your high school transcript and statement of graduation receive the necessary stamps from the embassy or ministry of foreign affairs for attestation.
  • Bachelor’s Diploma and Certificate of Graduation

  • Bachelor’s official transcript of records
  • CV or resume

  • English language proficiency such as IELTS (academic) or TOEFL.
  • Passport copy
  • CPR copy / National ID
  • A medical report from a public health center or an approved private hospital.
  • High resolution passport size photograph (soft copy)

Admissions Criteria

Applicants who meet the University’s entry requirement and submit their complete documents such as high school diploma, transcripts and passports to the university Admission Office will receive a Full Admission letter issued.

Applicants who did not submit the complete documents such as high school diploma, transcripts and passports may be admitted on a conditional basis and will receive a Conditional Admission letter until all documents are received.

Applicants who fail to meet the full admissions requirements but show potential for academic success at the university level may be admitted on a provisional basis. These admitted students are required to follow stipulations outlined in a Provisional Admission letter and may be enrolled in the Intensive English Language Program (IEP) or in the Foundation year program. The University works closely with provisionally admitted students to develop a plan for meeting the required stipulations and achieving regular admission status. Students typically remain under provisional admittance status for one semester or up to one year. A regular student status can be obtained after meeting the admissions criteria.
