Students from the American University of Bahrain (AUBH) made their mark at the prestigious MISK Global Forum, the biggest youth forum in the region, that took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is the second consecutive participation for AUBH students at the Global Forum in Riyadh.
The Forum, known for fostering dialogue on global challenges and opportunities, featured a delegation of talented AUBH students participating in insightful sessions. Under the theme, “The Big Now”, the Forum aimed to inspire ambitious thinking and prompt action among young individuals. The University’s sponsorship of AUBH Engineering students is in accordance with its vision of cultivating global leaders and innovators who can inspire positive changes in society.
The MISK conference provided an unparalleled platform for AUBH students to engage with international thought leaders and contribute to discussions that shape the future. This invaluable experience reinforces the University’s commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment where Engineering students are inspired to lead and innovate on a global scale.
AUBH President, Dr. Bradley J. Cook expressed his enthusiasm on the students’ participation: “We are proud to have our students represent AUBH at the MISK Global Forum. This experience aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing a global perspective and empowering our students to contribute meaningfully to the world.”
MISK Forum, with its dynamic platform, allowed students to engage in vibrant discussions and sessions including “AI for Good by ITU”, “Perseverance through Panic”, “Al-Diiriyah Code” hosted by DGDA, and “Empowering Innovation”. The Forum provided students with the opportunity to connect with prominent companies in their respective fields, inspiring idea exchanges, and networking opportunities, and served as a catalyst for nurturing the potential of young leaders, fostering collaboration, and inspiring positive global change.
Aligned with AUBH’s mission to enable students to find their real passions and develop their abilities, participation at conferences helps shape the youth and place Bahrain’s youth on the global map.
