The Pathway Academy

The Pathway Academy at AUBH seeks to address the needs of students who may not initially meet the entry requirements for college-level courses. By offering a range of preparatory programs, we aim to provide essential skills and knowledge that will enable students to succeed in their academic pursuits and seamlessly transition to college-level work.

Programs

Why UPP?

The University Preparatory Program (UPP) is designed for students who may require additional support to meet college entry requirements. This program offers a variety of courses to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for success in higher education. It focuses on addressing the English language proficiency requirements for students falling below the entry criteria at AUBH, while also granting struggling high school graduates a renewed opportunity to bridge any gaps in their academic achievement.

Why Basic English?

The “Basic English” program provides essential language support for students needing to strengthen their foundational skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Targeting those with IELTS scores of 4.0 to 4.5, it bridges the gap between basic understanding and effective communication. Aligned with the B1 level of the European Framework for Languages, this 14-week program helps students navigate everyday situations, boost academic performance, and prepare for future language exams, setting them up for greater success in their personal and professional journeys.
